The Full Story
Reverend Cornell Jenkins has 28 years of HR experience working in employee development, recruiting, staffing, records management, suitability/security, and labor relations. His knowledge of HR functions gives him the ability to connect HR functions and turn them into an HR department. His knowledge of HR also gives him to ability to connect HR to other parts of an organization. Effectively connecting HR to other parts of an organization will enhance the business practices of the organization and increase the bottom line.
Reverend Jenkins has served faithfully in ministry for 23 years in many capacities: Sunday school teacher, small group leader, Minister to Men, and counselor to other preachers. He has performed weddings, funerals, and other sacred duties in the church. He currently serves as a financial mentor to pastors for the Mid-Atlantic Faith Foundation.
He is a dynamic teacher and facilitator, educating and empowering people of differing backgrounds to mutually understand, empathize, and come together. In the winter of 2021, he co-facilitated a class for the Bayit organization on Black and Jewish Racial Reconciliation. In 2024, Cornell facilitated a class for Black Christians entitled Healing Racial Trauma in the Black Church. And in 2025, he facilitated a class for White Christians entitled Bridging the Racial Gap in the Church.
Reverend Jenkins has earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, University College (Human Resources Management) and a Master of Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary (concentration in Race and Public Theology).
