This course is specifically designed for Black-identifying Christians to preserve the integrity of the content, its impact on participants, and to encourage open and honest exchange.  We will delve into the biblical and theological perspectives of racism, exploring this familiar subject using themes that the Church seldomly addresses.

Course Themes:

  1. Racism is a sin and spiritual issue, not the social justice construct that society purports.

  2. Black and White Christians need to address racism from different angles because we have different heart issues to deal with. 

  3. What is church-induced racial trauma, and how does it uniquely affect Black Christians?

  4. What unique challenges do Black Christians face healing from past/current racial trauma?  

  5. What scripturally-based techniques can Black Christians employ to heal from racial trauma?
